Bolla Valpolicella Classico DOC
Fresh, juicy, and classic: this Valpolicella Classico is exactly what you'd expect from a wine from the heart of Veneto. Light-bodied without being dull, with vibrant red fruit and a subtle spice. Bolla proves that simplicity can be perfection—as long as you've been doing it for 130 years.
Vineyards and region – classic Valpolicella terroir
This wine comes from the original Classico region of Valpolicella, where hills with chalky soils and mild temperature variations produce grapes with freshness and elegance. It's the birthplace of wines bursting with red fruit, with just enough structure to remain interesting.
Vinification and maturation – made purely from fruit
The grapes undergo 15 days of temperature-controlled fermentation. This slow, cool fermentation helps preserve the aromas of cherries and bay leaves, resulting in a smooth, dry style with energetic acidity.
Grape composition
75% Corvina and Corvinone, 25% Rondinella.
Tasting notes
Ruby red in color with aromas of red fruit, cherries, and a hint of laurel. Light and fresh on the palate with soft acidity and a delicate spicy note. The finish is dry and elegant.
Serving suggestions
Perfect with grilled meat, pasta with tomato sauce, or soft cheeses. Serve slightly chilled at 14 to 16 degrees Celsius.
Awards
Perswijn: 13.5/17 points – “Aromas of black cherries, licorice, pepper, and flint. Fresh, light, and lively on the palate.”
