We think so, but there's nothing wrong with that, because this latest Bottega Stella Millesimato is as beautiful as a starry sky. So says the Bottega vineyard. Every bubble in this bottle is as beautiful as a bright star in the sky, and yes, we can only agree. A unique blend made from Glera, Chardonnay, and Pinot Noir grapes. The latter two, of course, we also know from the Champagne region. Well, they'll be thrilled, we can tell you what this surpasses many Champagne houses.

Because of the quality of this Bottega Stella, something special had to happen, according to Sandro Bottega. On the bottom of the bottle, there's a button you can press, and the bottle lights up, revealing the stars. So beautiful! A rare and unique experience, we can tell you. The contents of this bottle are truly magnificent, and the harvest comes from two top wine regions: Lombardy and Veneto. The Pinot Noir comes from the right bank of the Po River. Here, the landscape is unique, providing the harvest with abundant marl and limestone, which Pinto Noir grapes thrive in. Thanks to its unique position relative to the sun, the grapes ripen evenly. The fresh wind, on the other hand, provides a cooling breeze, keeping the harvest fresh and minerally. The Chardonnay and Glera grapes come from Veneto, and the Keli-like soils give the bunches great strength and richness. The blend of this Bottega Stella is comparable to Champagne.

This Bottega Stella is gorgeous

All the grapes for this Bottega Stella come from the 2020 vintage, making it a Millesimato. After a long aging in the bottle, similar to French Champagne, it's ready to be opened. Upon opening the Champagne cork, we immediately smell powerful notes of yellow fruit and roasted nuts. In the glass, this Bottega Stella has a deep golden color with a slight green shimmer. Soft bubbles emerge from the bottom. It smells of fresh citrus fruit with notes of toasted bread, floral notes, and a touch of gooseberry. On the palate, the soft bubbles reveal a rich flavor of yellow fruit with hints of grapefruit. And let's not forget the full flavors of peach and apricot. A Bottega to dream away with, so beautiful!
