Vintage Report
The 2015 vintage produced extremely good grapes, which is an absolute prerequisite for making a Vintage Port. According to the Robert Parker Vintage Chart, Vintage Port from 2015 scores an 83 (above average) and is relatively accessible for drinking early.
Burmester Vinatge 2015, the jewel of Burmester! A Vintage Port can only be made if the grapes are of exceptional vintage. This port contains only grapes from the specific 2015 vintage. Other ports are made from multiple vintages. The grapes, all hand-picked, are treated using the traditional lagering method (a stone press trough formerly used to press grapes with the feet). This traditional technique extracts the juice from the grapes with exceptional efficiency and care. The final result is truly exceptional; decanting is recommended because this Vintage was bottled with lees.
