This exceptional Ca' del Bosco Brut Millesimato was made in the peak year of 2009. A vintage Franciacorta, and that's remarkable, with its unprecedented fullness and complexity. This is the Ca' del Bosco Franciacorta Millesimato that embodies the character of this unique region like no other. A well-structured wine that stands out from the crowd.
A wine with character from Ca' del Bosco
Today, Franciacorta enjoys a reputation for unparalleled bubbles, a sensational sparkling wine. However, Franciacorta's history doesn't go back that far. Maurizio began experimenting with sparkling wines in 1976. After nearly 20 years of hard work, this effort was finally rewarded in 1995 with its own DOCG: DOCG Franciacorta. Since then, the pride of Lombardy has been thriving, and with good reason, because every sip feels like a little Italian celebration.
Character. Among the Franciacorta wines from Ca' del Bosco, this is the one that best expresses the character of the area and the unique characteristics each year brings. The weather is always unpredictable. Since 1978, Brut Millesimato has been produced exclusively in the best years. The result of careful vinification, but above all, of prolonged refinement that enhances its characteristics: four years of aging on lees. A unique Franciacorta, structured, full-bodied, intense, and persistent. A wine for grand occasions, and particularly good with haute cuisine seafood.
The sensational aromas of Vintage Collection Brut Millesimato
This Brut Millesimato is straw yellow in the glass with golden reflections. Truly beautiful. The nose is a true sensation, with aromas of fresh fruit like apple, pear, apricot, lemon, and bitter orange. Followed by sensational notes of yeast bread with a hint of honey and vanilla. It is a dry wine, rich and fruity, and very structured. The aroma is reflected in the taste, and it has a pleasant finish.
