This delicious rosé champagne symbolizes the love between owner Gabriel Baron, who grew up in the Champagne region, and his Spanish wife, Dolorès Fuentes. Hence the winery's name. This champagne is made with Chardonnay, Pinot Meunier, and Pinot Noir grapes. Each grape variety offers its own distinctive character.
Founded in 1976, the first bottles were produced and sold directly from the estate. The company continues to grow annually. Today, the champagne estate comprises 38 hectares of vineyards, and the Baron family owns the Baron Fuenté brand. The vineyards are located in the commune of Charly-sur-Marne and occupy the region's best plots, nestled on the slopes overlooking the Marne River. The vineyards are planted with the traditional grape varieties: Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier, and Chardonnay.
The aroma offers a broad bouquet of strawberry, raspberry, lime, and hints of toast and red candy. The beautiful aroma continues on the palate, with its lovely mousse (bubbles) thanks to the fact that this Champagne Baron Fuente Rosé has been aged for at least three years in the Baron Fuente cellars. The palate also reveals nuances of strawberry, berries, red cherries, and a touch of lemon zest. A truly exceptional Champagne.
