A classy champagne with a minerality! A "blanc de blancs" made from 100% Chardonnay grapes. This sparkling champagne hails from the eponymous wine region in northern France. Its flavor is elegant, with minerals and citrus fruit. Its unique character makes it the ideal champagne to enjoy at brunch, lunch, or any other meal. Its minerality pairs beautifully with seashells and grilled or steamed fish dishes. It also pairs wonderfully with a fresh white sandwich with smoked salmon, cooked lobster, raw oyster, sea bream, or shrimp tempura.
The beginning of Champagne House Jacquart
The Jacquart Champagne House was founded in 1962 by a small group of winegrowers. They wanted to jointly launch a new brand to reduce their reliance on large trading houses. Today, Jacquart itself has grown into one of the largest companies in the region. Together, they own over 800 hectares of vineyards in 130 villages spread across the Montagne de Reims, the Vallée de la Marne, and the Côte des Blancs. Ten villages even hold Grand Cru status, and 22 hold Premier Cru status. Quality is therefore guaranteed. The wines are characterized by a high proportion of Chardonnay and are frequently found on wine lists both in France and abroad.
5 years of bottle aging for the Jacquart Blanc de Blancs
High quality is paramount, and that's why only the very best grapes are collected to create this sparkling champagne. This Blanc de Blancs is made from various crus and is vinified traditionally. The Champagne then spends five years in the bottle in the cellar, where the mousse develops during the second fermentation.
This champagne has a vibrant straw yellow color. It's very lively with a persistent mousse. It develops notes of dried flowers, griotte cherries, and aromas of buttery brioche. Fresh and light on the palate, it offers an explosion of delicious white fruit with citrus notes. Elegant, with a fine, round mousse and exceptional length.
