The Alpha Vintage's ambition is for "perfect harmony, depth, and finesse," without limitations on a specific blend. Each vintage is therefore built around different varietals, crus, and aging. This 2010 vintage displays a powerful fruit presence of star fruit, pineapple, and golden, delicious apple. The Alpha Vintage is composed of 60 percent Chardonnay and 40 percent Pinot Noir. It ages on the lees for a total of five years to develop its unique character.
A mosaic of vineyards by Jacquart
In 1962, Champagne House Jacquart began as a daring project by several winegrowers in Reims. They decided to join forces and turn their backs on the large Champagne houses on which everyone depended. Thanks to their expertise and a great deal of perseverance, the Champagne House has now secured a place among the great houses. Together, they own over 800 hectares of vineyards in the heart of the Champagne region, 22 hectares of which are Premier Cru and 10 hectares are even classified as Grand Cru. An exceptional level at a very attractive price.
High quality is paramount, and that's why only the very best grapes are collected to create this sparkling champagne. Jacquart's mission is to transform those small, everyday pleasures into special occasions. These evoke emotions and can be shared with others! The vineyards selected for Champagne Jacquart now comprise a mosaic of more than 60 vineyards, among the 150 vinified each year. They are carefully tended by our partner winegrowers. Each contributes its own aromatic nuance and texture to the richness and complexity of the champagnes.
The aroma and taste of Champagne Jacquart Cuvée Alpha Vintage
A graceful champagne with a fine, lively mousse. Your nose is treated to a palette of floral notes (acacia, honeysuckle, poppy), apples, pears, biscuit, and toast. Fruity on the palate, subtle grapefruit and elegant minerals. A long, chalky finish.
