A truly iconic wine that receives a lot of awards every year, not surprising because what a beautiful glass of wine this is! The name Fusion V comes from the grape varieties that are used in this Bordeaux-like blend, namely Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Malbec, Merlot and Petit Verdot. All grapes are hand-picked and selected to ensure that only the best juice ends up in this beautiful wine.

Wood aging for the De Toren Fusion V Magnum

The finest juice is then aged in oak barrels for at least 12 months. This gives this De Toren Fusion V a powerful aroma of blackberries and berries, as well as spices, coffee, and cedarwood. So deliciously unique! The taste surpasses everything, full and complex with all sorts of beautiful notes. We noted a wealth of notes of black fruit, oak, vanilla, plums, tobacco, chocolate, spices, and an undertone of currants and cinnamon. The finish is elegant and long! An iconic wine from South Africa!
