The Merlot grapes are harvested entirely by hand to select only the finest fruit for this red wine. After harvesting, the grapes are transported in small crates to the winery, where they are pressed. Before aging, approximately 50% of the wine is aged in stainless steel vats and 50% in used French oak barrels. This light oak aging adds complexity and finesse, giving this red wine its silky smooth character. Delbeaux is a wine cooperative founded on a passion for wine.
