A fantastic, special, and above all, unique wine from the renowned Tariquet estate. A winery with a long and remarkable history. Founded in 1912, it is already over a century old. What's remarkable is that Domaine Tariquet wasn't originally a winery; it was established to produce Armagnac, a local spirit from Gascony. From the 1980s onward, the new generation decided to plant grapes. Today, Domaine Tariquet boasts an area of no less than 1,000 hectares, planted with all the local grape varieties of Gascony. A wise move, as Domaine du Tariquet is now one of the largest and best wineries in Gascony.

The vineyards of Domaine du Tariquet

Domaine du Tariquet is a true pioneer in refreshing, dry, and elegant white wines, all originating from the Cotes du Gascogne region. Each wine is more spectacular than the last. However, this Domaine du Tariquet Premieres Grives is in a completely different league. The base for this sultry white wine is Gros Manseng, a grape naturally rich in acidity and fruit. The result is a slightly sweet white wine that rivals many other dessert wines from France.

What does Domaine du Tariquet Dernieres Grives taste like?

Some wines are unique. Special. Almost a rarity. This is certainly the case with this Domaine du Tariquet Grives. A true standout from the Cotes de Gascogne. You can discover this the moment you open this bottle of Domaine du Tariquet. A lush bouquet immediately tickles your nose. Overripe fruit and abundant exotic fruit. The palate is spectacular. You taste mango, quince, and ripe apricots. Sweet, sultry, and robust. Yet, still retaining the necessary freshness. Domaine du Tariquet Premieres Grives never becomes too sweet.
