Domaine de Guillaman manages 70 hectares of Sauvignon Blanc vineyards. The vines are between 10 and 20 years old. While these old vines may not produce large quantities of grapes, what they do produce is remarkably powerful. The limited yield of these grapes translates into the exceptional quality of the resulting wine.
As soon as you open the bottle, a beautiful, vibrant bouquet of aromas greets you. Lovely hints of limegrass, green apple, passion fruit, and a hint of lemon zest. But this Domaine de Guillaman Sauvignon Blanc is just as delightfully vibrant. The palate is thirst-quenching and fresh, with lovely soft acidity and plenty of white fruit like apple, pear, and white peach. There are also nuances of mown grass and lime.
Its beautiful freshness makes this wine a perfect pairing with white fish, seafood, fresh salads, and of course, chicken. But this white wine is also delicious on the patio or as an evening wine. It's an adaptable wine that's also suitable for parties or drinks.
