The name already gives it away: Enate's Tapas Tempranillo is a true friend to everyone. A wine made to accompany various dishes or simply enjoy on the sofa. It's an exquisite glass—soft, round, and ripe—those are the key words for this Enate Tapas Tempranillo. But the Eante winery actually has a long, thirty-year history. In 1992, the winery began crafting the finest wines in northern Spain, specifically in the Somontano region. The Enate family had two passions: Spanish wine, of course, and modern art. These two worlds converge in Eante wines. Each bottle features a work of art that tells us something about the wine.
The old Tempranillo vineyard of Enate Tapas
This red Tapas wine uses whole Tempranillo grapes sourced from the finest vineyards in Somontano. The grapes grow at the foot of the mountain, where the mountain provides ample sunlight reflection and plenty of freshness from the wind. This constant wind contributes to a balanced growing season. Once the grapes reach full ripeness, they are harvested by hand and immediately taken to Enate Wines. There, the grapes undergo a gentle pressing, and the juice matures for several months in Enate's cellars. This red Tapas wine is therefore perfectly balanced and offers a rich, smooth character.
The smell and taste of the Enate Tapas Tempranillo
With this red wine, Enate aims to bring together the love and marriage of tapas and wine. And they more than succeeded, because as soon as the bottle is opened, we smell a cheerful note of red fruit. Upon pouring, we see a ruby red color with aromas of strawberries, raspberries, light spices, and a touch of dark chocolate. The taste is very balanced and leaves the mouth feeling very refined and smooth. Beautiful flavors emerge from red and black fruit, along with Spanish tradition in the form of spices and vanilla. What a superb glass of red wine from Enate.
