The old vineyard of Fantini
At the heart of this success are the Aglianico del Vulture grapes grown in the town of Acerenza in Basilicata. These old vineyards yield a top-notch harvest, thanks in part to the rich soil structure and the perfect climate. Many warm afternoons and cool nights ensure even ripeness of the bunches. These are therefore harvested entirely by hand to select only the finest bunches for this Gran Cuvée Rosé Swarovski. The primary fermentation takes place in Fantini's cellars, and the skins are briefly left to ferment. This gives the wine its light pink color. The secondary fermentation, which brings the soft bubbles to the bottle, takes a full sixty days. This Gran Cuvée Rosé is then allowed to develop its mousse and is ready to sparkle in the glass.
What does the Fantini Gran Cuvee Rose taste like?
Upon opening the Champagne cork, we immediately smell a beautiful, vibrant aroma of red fruit and a hint of citrus peel. In the glass, this Gran Cuvée Rosé glows like a clear Swarovski crystal, a light pink with a vibrant sparkle. The fine bubbles gently rise upward, infusing all our senses with a sensation of pure pleasure. The aroma reveals notes of ripe cherry, cassis, and wild strawberry. On the palate, the bubbles offer a light, fresh tingle with abundant red fruit nuances. Later, we discover citrus notes, mint leaves, and a hint of gooseberry in the palate.
