Description
New label, same wine.
Valdelagunde Semi-Dulce. The name says it all: this white wine is semi-sweet! This white wine is made from 50% Verdejo and 50% Viura. The vineyards where the Verdejo vines are planted are 15 years old, while the vineyards where the Viura are planted are much older, between 40 and 50 years old. By using these old vines, this white wine, with a pleasant residual sweetness, has plenty of character.
This Valdelagunde Semidulce is slightly sweet
Upon pouring, the beautiful golden color immediately catches our attention. This releases summery aromas that pique our curiosity even more. Delightful aromas of ripe yellow fruit like peach and nectarine are complemented by fresh hints of tropical fruit and a touch of citrus. Although somewhat different from what the name suggests, this white wine is truly, but slightly, sweet on the palate. A touch of residual sweetness, as we call it. The excellent balance of sweet fruit and citrus notes makes this wine very enjoyable. The finish is full and creamy with a delicate residual sweetness. A wine that many wine drinkers will appreciate!
