The name Florence means "Florentius" in Latin, or the feminine form Florentia, which also means "prosperous" and "blooming." You will experience these impressions while drinking this beautiful white wine, which, with its various grape varieties, reflects Aaldering's beautiful touch. It all begins in the vineyard located on the West Coast of South Africa; the cooler climate produces ripe and fresher grapes. Fons Aaldering aims to incorporate this style into the Florence wine. Each year, the vines age, producing fuller and more powerful bunches, which is clearly noticeable in this white wine. Thanks to the strong ocean winds, the white grapes ripen quietly and peacefully.

After fermenting all the grapes, the blend is made, a truly meticulous job.
