This rosé comes from the limestone terroir of La Livinière. It is named after owner Tim Ford's Minuette rose, which he cultivated in Kenya during his 25 years of rose production. A nod to both the past and the future, La Minuette exemplifies estate values, where wines are rooted in tradition and crafted in the spirit of the present.

Modern vinification for Gayda wines

The Gayda winery's wine adventure began in 2004 when Tim Ford and Anthony Record joined forces with winemaker Vincent Chansault. They share a passion for traditional wines and combine this with innovation. The 30 hectares of vineyards are spread across various locations in the Languedoc. This offers the winery a significant advantage, giving it access to diverse soil types such as limestone, granite, slate, and sandstone. Integrated viticulture is the stated principle here, and therefore the vineyards are increasingly being farmed organically. The "Figure libre," "Chemin de Moscou," and "Villa Mon Rêve" lines are already certified organic. All wines are produced in their own cellar. They invest in the latest equipment and technology to ensure vinification and aging are carried out under optimal conditions. Since the beginning, they have accumulated numerous awards. They have received numerous prizes for their high-quality wines. Only the finest grapes are good enough to bear the Gayda label. Therefore, the entire vinification process is closely monitored.

The scent and taste of Gayda La Minuette Rosé

The blend consists of 60 percent Mouvedre, 15 percent Syrah, 15 percent Grenache, and 10 percent Cinsault. The grapes are all harvested by hand and transported to the winery in crates. The wine is then aged for three months on its fine lees before bottling. It has a floral aroma and flavors of melon that mingle with raspberry and spice. It is pleasantly fresh and minerally with fruity notes of white peach. Delicious as an aperitif and with summer dishes.
