The origin, grapes and craftsmanship behind this wine.

A wine made entirely from Montepulciano grapes, the Lu Kont from Il Conte Villa Prandone emerges with a radiant ruby red color in the glass. You can immediately savor its beautiful aroma and structured flavor. Imagine yourself transported to sun-drenched Italy with this Lu Kont.

The Il Conte Villa Prandone winery boasts a rich history and is situated in the beautiful hills of Monteprandone in the province of Ascoli Piceno. This estate is a true natural paradise, home to grape varieties such as Montepulciano, Sangiovese, Merlot, Passerina, Pecorino, and Trebbiano. The success of these wines is due to years of experience and a passion for the vineyards and the land. The microclimate in this region, where a light breeze from the Adriatic Sea meets the Sibillini Mountains, provides the perfect conditions for optimal grape ripeness. This results in wines of exceptional quality and flavor. The Montepulciano grapes are carefully and selectively harvested at peak ripeness. A gentle pressing follows in the winery. Maceration then takes place in steel vats, where the grapes are pressed by hand. During maceration, fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature, resulting in a high-quality wine. After fermentation is complete, the wine is aged for 12 months in oak barrels. This allows the wine to develop the flavors and aromas imparted by the oak. The wine is then aged for another 12 months in concrete tanks, adding further structure and complexity. Finally, the wine is aged in bottle for at least 6 months, further enhancing the flavors and aromas. This guarantees an exceptional flavor profile with a balanced finish.

The Il Conte Villa Prandone, Montepulciano Marche Rosso IGP LU KONT is an intensely flavored red wine. The aroma is full and ripe, with notes of black cherry and currant, combined with subtle hints of licorice. The palate is full and rounded with plenty of structure and complexity. Beautifully balanced with an elegant palate and pleasant acidity. This wine is the result of the perfect balance between the quality of the grapes and the unique microclimate of the Marche region, making it a valuable addition to any wine collection.
