Top vineyards in the Ribera del Duero
Only the finest grapes are used for this Jaros red wine. Without enough perfect fruit, the wine production will simply be lower. But before the wine is bottled, a great deal of work must be done in the exceptional vineyards of Bodegas del Jaro. Each plant receives equal attention, allowing the grapes to mature perfectly. The warm weather and cool evenings also significantly influence the quality. When the grapes are perfectly ripe, they are brought in plot by plot. To ensure the wine isn't too harsh or dry, fermentation takes place on the skins for just seven days. This is followed by aging in French oak barrels, varying from 12 to 14 months depending on the vintage. The phenomenal result is certainly something to be proud of!The taste of this red wine from Spain
This gem from the Bodegas de Jaro winery, called Jaros Ribera del Duero, is of unparalleled quality. It's truly exceptional that they've achieved this quality at this price point. Upon pouring, we discover a beautiful, deep, dark red color with an almost black core. The aroma reveals a wonderfully broad bouquet of blackcurrant and cherry, followed by aromas of vanilla, licorice, a light spice, and a final touch of coffee. This translates into a full-bodied and thick wine with pleasant tannins. Delicious flavor nuances of ripe black fruit, a touch of spice, vanilla, and a pleasantly creamy texture on the palate. The finish is rich and full, culminating in a soft, red-carpet finish.Product details
