It was founded in San Juan, a province just north of the renowned Mendoza wine region. Bodegas Callia has had a special bond with the Netherlands since its inception. It was businessman Meindert Pon, founder of the iconic Salentein winery, who ensured that Bodegas Callia became one of Argentina's top wines.
