Description
What a beautiful wine from Marco Felluga! This Collio Sauvignon is made entirely from the finest Sauvignon Blanc grapes. It's refreshing and very thirst-quenching, and because the grapes are harvested by hand, the flavor is incredibly pure. Highly recommended!
The ideal climate for quality wines from Marco Felluga
Collio is one of the first areas in Italy to be awarded a DOC (Decree of Conformity) in 1964. The area is also known for its rolling hills and mild climate. Thanks to the Adriatic Sea and the shelter of the mountains, it is an ideal location for viticulture. Warm days and cool nights ensure perfect grape ripeness. The Marco Felluga winery has been dedicated to producing wines in this area for five generations. The vineyards are located in the Collio wine region in the eastern Friuli region, which is highly regarded by wine connoisseurs for its white wines. With its creations, the Marco Felluga estate has made a significant contribution to the great popularity of Collio wines. Marco Felluga's Sauvignon Collio Doc is a fragrant white wine from the Collio wine region. After harvest, the grapes were separated from the stems. The must and pulp underwent cold maceration on the skins, followed by a light pressing to separate the skins. Fermentation took place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. The wine is aged in stainless steel tanks on its own yeasts for six months. The impressive aromas of Collio Sauvignon
As soon as you open the bottle, a beautiful bouquet of aromas greets you! The nose is impressive, with lovely nuances of green apple, pear, citrus fruit, and gooseberry. These wonderful impressions continue in the rounded taste. Lovely fruity notes of citrus fruits like lime and lemon, as well as apple and gooseberry. Yet so well-balanced, it pairs wonderfully with salads, goat cheese, oysters, sushi, and green vegetables.Product details
