After much work, the vines are currently in top condition; the old, thick trunks have deep roots to easily absorb moisture. This is necessary, as the Chardonnay grapes are planted in a warm climate. Thanks to the abundant sunshine, the grapes ripen beautifully, resulting in a powerful Chardonnay.

The Chardonnay harvest of Monterre

When the grapes are perfectly ripe and still fresh enough, they are harvested in the morning. The beautiful, full clusters guarantee a refined Chardonnay. The Monterre winemaker is proud of this, as it's the result of years of hard work in the vineyards. The juice that emerges from the clusters is a beautiful golden yellow and of excellent quality.
