What a refined, full-bodied, powerful white wine! Paul Mas's flagship wine, Grande Reserve. And it certainly is Grande; what a full-bodied Chardonnay it is! Making this beautiful white wine requires a lot of dedication in the vineyards. For this delicious Grande Reserve, special vineyards with old vines have been selected. These old vines are at least 20 years old, yielding rich, full-bodied grapes. When the grapes are perfectly ripe, the harvest begins very early in the morning. Because the skins are not yet exposed to the heat of the day, they are much more resistant to bruising during transport to the winery.

A grand wine!

We already knew that Paul Mas is a forward-thinking company. Domaine Paul Mas is currently one of the largest and most renowned wineries in France, without compromising on quality. With over 600 hectares of its own vineyards and an additional 1,312 hectares of vineyards owned by contracted winegrowers, there's a perfect place for every grape variety to grow. This diversity of vineyards, locations, and plantings allows Domaine Paul Mas to produce a wide range of exquisite wines at attractive prices. Something this fine winery can be more than proud of.

9 months of wood aging

Finally, the moment has arrived to taste this Paul Mas Grande Reserve Chardonnay. Its color is a beautiful straw yellow with a golden sparkle. Thanks to its nine months of aging in both French and American oak barrels, we noted full and complex aromas of pears, tropical fruit, grilled almonds, and toast. The taste, however, left us speechless; what a magnificent wine! It's full and thick with lovely hints of toast, wood, vanilla, apricots, and other yellow fruits. The finish is full and creamy, with a pleasantly fresh note at the end. A truly top-notch wine!
