One of our favorite white wines is this Paul Mas Vignes de Nicole Chardonnay Viognier. The old vines that make this white wine so special are planted in the best plots. Due to the age of the vines, the grape yield is relatively low. However, the quality is exceptionally high, something that is very important to Paul Mas. At the right ripeness, all bunches are harvested by hand to ensure only the best grapes are used in the wine. After arriving at the winery, the grapes are spread out on large tables for a second round of selection, after which the pressing takes place. Both grape varieties undergo separate vinification processes. The Chardonnay even undergoes a beautiful four-month oak aging for added strength and suppleness. The result?

Full, soft and long with a fresh touch

Upon pouring, we're immediately captivated by the straw-yellow color with a slightly oily rim. This suggests a beautiful, full-bodied white wine. The aroma offers pleasant aromas of pear, tropical fruit, peach, and citrus with a hint of vanilla and toast. The palate is fresh and smooth, with lovely nuances of ripe pear, tropical fruit, light citrus, and a sultry hint of vanilla at the end. The finish is full, smooth, and long with a refreshing touch.
