The quality of Andrian wines is always consistent and of a high standard. This Pinot Noir comes from Alto-Adige, Italy. Only the very best grapes are good enough for this red wine. Every winemaker dreams of making a beautiful Pinot Noir, so a strict selection follows after the harvest. A bottle of wine for the true wine lover!
The new identity of Andrian winery
Founded in 1893, the winery is the oldest cooperative in South Tyrol and has operated under the auspices of the Terlan winery since 2008. The grapes from the 70 hectares of vineyards are vinified separately in the modern buildings of the Terlan winery, which are well worth seeing, thus maintaining their independence. The new product characteristics perfectly reflect the wine style produced. The winery's new identity can be described as solid, modern, and straightforward. The international top ratings of the streamlined range prove that the team led by cellar master Rudi Kofler and sales manager Klaus Gasser is right.
This cooperative is definitely one of the best in the world!
The grapes are harvested by hand. The wine then ferments in stainless steel, where the juice gently touches the skins. This creates a wine with finesse and beautiful fruit. Malolactic fermentation and aging take place in large oak barrels, perfectly rounding out the Pinot Noir.
In short, a great glass of Pinot Noir
This Pinot Noir has a fresh and open aroma, with notes of strawberries and cherries, and a pleasant red Pinot fruit—that's what we first noted when we tasted this delicious red wine from Andrian. A superb glass from Alto Adige, Italy, with a wonderfully light, juicy, and invigorating palate—fine fruit, vibrant acidity, and a stimulating red. This Pinot Noir Andrian pairs wonderfully with meat dishes, gazpacho, pasta, and soft cream cheeses.
