What a classy wine this combination of Garganega and Pinot Grigio grapes from the great winemaker Pirovano is! Amadio Pirovano's love of pairing wines with food began in 1850. That year, the former shoemaker and his sons opened a top restaurant where local wines played a key role. After a few years, he knew all the wines of the area and knew exactly where the beautiful vineyards were located. With this in mind, Amadio Pirovano founded his own winery in 1910, and it has proven to be a resounding success. The winery has grown into a global player, and the Pirovano family still knows how to select the finest vineyards. While its origins lie in Puglia, the winery now also has vineyards in other Italian wine regions.
