Faustino's vision proved to be a bull's-eye. These vineyards now produce harvests that are the envy of the wine world. The origin, grapes and craftsmanship behind this wine.
Bodegas Faustino, synonymous with quality wines from Rioja, has expanded its expertise to Ribera del Duero. In the 1990s, they saw potential in a land overlooked by many. With determination, they planted Tempranillo grapes in four unique vineyards: Roa, Gumiel de Izán, Villanueva, and Gumiel del Mercado. Thanks to the high altitude, some 850 meters above sea level, wines of exceptional power and character are now produced here.
