Pago Carronda
A single-vineyard vineyard from Pago Carronda in La Aguilera, at an altitude of 900 to 950 meters . Hand-picked, fermented in small stainless steel vats, and then aged in French oak (the producer specifies a minimum of 13 months ). This high, calcareous plot yields concentrated, aromatic Tempranillo with natural freshness and ageing potential.
About the winery
Bodegas Portia is the modern Ribera project of Familia Martínez Zabala (formerly Grupo Faustino), famous for the star-shaped bodega designed by architect Norman Foster in Gumiel de Izán. Innovative cellar techniques and strict selection are the foundation of their top cuvée, Triennia.
2020 edition at a glance
An excellent year in Ribera del Duero, with wines that have firm tannins and age more slowly . This makes this Triennia impressive already, but especially ideal for developing over several years.

Perfect with rack of lamb, grilled sirloin steak, or cochinillo . Also excellent with mushroom risotto and aged Manchego .
