As the crown jewel of Bodegas Faustino, Portia Winery established itself in the prestigious Ribera del Duero wine region in the 1990s. Faustino recognized the vineyards' inestimable potential and was determined to produce top-notch wines. Their vision became a reality. After significant investments in both the vineyards and modern winemaking techniques, the four vineyards in Roa, Gumiel de Izán, Villanueva, and Gumiel del Mercado now yield exceptional vintages. Every sip reflects the Spanish temperament and the rich tradition of the Faustino family.

Portia's Refined Verdejo from Rueda

In addition to their signature red wines, Portia also produces a stunningly pure white wine from the Rueda region. Here, at an altitude of 600 meters, the Verdejo grapes thrive. The ancient vines, with their deep roots, draw nutrients from a soil rich in limestone, gravel, and clay. Cooling ocean breezes preserve the freshness and minerality of the grapes, which are carefully hand-picked at peak ripeness and brought to Portia's state-of-the-art winery.
