The Radacini Chardonnay comes from Moldova, a country not yet well-known in the Netherlands for its wines. However, the country is perfectly suited to winegrowing. The climate is ideal, thanks to the cooling effect of the Black Sea, allowing the Chardonnay grapes to ripen exceptionally well. This soft Chardonnay is wonderfully fruity, with a creamy mouthfeel.

The manual harvest of Radacini Chardonnay

Moldova has a long wine history. Viticulture began in Roman times, and many new grape varieties were introduced. At Radacini Winery, meticulous attention is paid to the special details of each wine from day one. They own over 1,000 hectares of their own vineyards in three different regions. They utilize the latest technologies, resulting in a unique style. Thanks to their distinctive style and the dedication they demonstrate day in and day out, their wines have received dozens of awards. This reflects their quality and dedication. The Chardonnay grapes ripen relatively early and are then harvested immediately by hand. After harvesting, the grapes are taken directly to the winery for a gentle pressing. Only the very best grapes are used and undergo temperature-controlled fermentation. Finally, the wine is aged for several months in oak barrels, which creates a full and creamy texture.

The Radacini Chardonnay is golden yellow in color and, upon opening, has a delightful aroma of apricot and peach, complemented by a hint of vanilla thanks to its oak aging. As soon as we taste the wine, we enjoy a creamy texture with ripe fruit notes. This Radacini Chardonnay is full-bodied and has a pleasant structure that continues into the long finish. This white wine pairs wonderfully with fish, poultry, and white meat dishes.
