The 2021 vintage in Rioja received an excellent rating of 94 points on the Robert Parker Vintage Chart. It was an outstanding year that produced high-quality wines with a youthful character and great potential.
This red wine from Raiza is the youngest wine from this fine winery. It's a Rioja made from the Tempranillo grape and is not aged in oak. This gives it a pleasantly smooth and very accessible taste. The grapes are grown in the Rioja Baja, the eastern part of the Rioja DOC.

Raiza is the name of the Rioja from the Vicente Gandia winery. The Tempranillo grapes for this wine are harvested by hand and with care in the second half of September. The wine is aged in stainless steel vats at 26 degrees Celsius, ensuring the grape's fruity character is preserved. The young wine is then bottled without oak aging. Rioja is the DO for excellent Spanish wines. It's no wonder it's the first recognized region in Spain.
