To visit the Primitivo vineyards for this red wine, we climb to an altitude of 100 meters above sea level. Here, we see the beautiful vineyards planted with this world-famous Italian grape. The climate here is very warm with relatively little rainfall. Therefore, it's important that the vines are well-rooted and can draw sufficient moisture from the soil.
