A blend of Pinot Noir and Merlot, this wine creates a unique and fruity flavor. Thanks to the high altitude where the grapes are grown, the wine has a wonderful freshness and vibrancy.
Perfect conditions for Tramin wines
Tramin is a leading winery in the popular Alto Adige wine region. Founded in 1898 by a group of winegrowers in the town of Tramin, hence its name, Tramin has grown into a prominent winery with a innovative approach to winemaking. Initially, the winery focused primarily on white wines, but over the years they have also specialized in producing excellent red wines.
The days are sunny and the nights exceptionally cool. Thanks to the surrounding mountains, a cool breeze regularly blows through the vineyards. All of this plays a key role in the vinification process of this Cuvée Rosso. It allows the grapes to grow in perfect conditions, resulting in high quality. The grapes are carefully selected for their quality. In the winery, the grapes are destemmed and gently crushed. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature, lasting approximately 7 to 10 days. Finally, the wine is aged in steel tanks without the influence of wood.
