This red Cabernet Sauvignon from The First Lady of Warwick is a tribute to Norma Ratcliffe. She was the first woman to discover the winery and thus the first woman to make wine in South Africa. She also planted Cabernet Sauvignon in the Simonsberg region. Now, so many years later, we can still enjoy a top-class Cabernet Sauvignon, thanks in part to Norma Ratcliffe. The old vineyard now produces truly beautiful bunches, which are beloved throughout South Africa. The price-quality ratio is particularly phenomenal. All grapes are harvested by hand and rigorously selected, after which the wine is aged for an impressive 18 months in oak barrels.

The aroma is a beautiful bouquet of black fruit notes, with distinct hints of dark chocolate and almonds. There's also a touch of light spice, star anise, and thyme.
