The Triebaumer family's adventure began in 1691 in the Austrian town of Rust. Wine and viticulture have long been closely linked within this family. Therefore, tradition is crucial to the winery. They add their own unique perspective to tradition and blend it with contemporary techniques. This, combined with their unique locations, allows the family to bring distinctive Burgenland wines to the market. Today, they manage 24 hectares of land with some of the finest vineyards. The Zweigelt grapes are harvested around mid-September. This is done entirely by hand, with a strict selection process already underway during the harvest itself. The grapes are then destemmed and pressed in the winery. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a temperature of 30 degrees Celsius. After fermentation is complete, a two-day maceration period follows. Malolactic fermentation and aging finally take place in stainless steel tanks and are finally transferred to large oak barrels.
