The name "pride" wasn't chosen entirely by chance for this red wine from Argentina. The winemakers of this phenomenal red wine are incredibly proud of their achievement. A world-class Malbec. Malbec is also considered the pride of Argentina. This grape originated in Bordeaux, arguably the birthplace of wine. However, it nearly became extinct. Winemakers who moved to South America discovered that this powerhouse thrives at the high altitudes of the Andes. Because the climate is dry and less extreme, Malbec is much smoother than its French counterpart.

A pride among Argentine wines

A whopping one-third of all red grapes are Malbec, a gigantic quantity. The majority are planted in and around the Mendoza wine region, where this Wine Makers Pride Malbec also originates.
