This white wine from Collio is produced from an exceptional blend of Chardonnay, Friulano, and Rubolla. All grapes come from vineyards with an average altitude of 100 meters above sea level. These vineyards are favorably situated in the south, giving the grapes time to ripen to perfection. The result is a unique wine with interesting aromas and a pleasant flavor.
Manual harvest for Korsic Bianco Collio
In the heart of the Collio region, the Korsic family has been running their winery for generations. With great care and dedication, they bring the grapes to life in their high-quality wines. The soils, consisting of marl and layered sandstone, nourish the vines and give the wines a beautiful minerality. This makes them unique. The Adriatic Sea ensures the grapes stay dry, and the Julian Alps protect them from cold currents and rain. This creates a perfect climate for viticulture. The grapes are harvested exclusively by hand when they are optimally ripe. Almost immediately after harvest, they are taken to the winery. Here, the Friulano, Rubolla, and Chardonnay grapes are destemmed, crushed, and vinified separately. First, the grapes undergo fermentation in steel tanks, followed by malolactic fermentation . After this, the wines are blended, and the final wine is aged in steel vats for several months. After bottling, the wine is allowed to rest in the bottle for a few more months.

And then it's time to savor this straw-yellow wine with golden reflections in the glass. The nose reveals aromas of white flowers, floral honey, and a delicate minerality. The palate is wonderfully juicy and bursting with freshness. Finally, the wine is simply elegant and refined on the finish, with good persistence. Excellent as an aperitif.
