The origin, grapes and craftsmanship behind this wine.

A thirst quencher number one. A refreshing glass of white wine from South Africa that you can't get enough of. Our vinologists' tasting notes are undeniable. Perhaps one of the finest discoveries from South Africa among white wines. It's likely due to Delheim's expertise. The winery has been active in South Africa for over 80 years. Originally a small winery, it has become a major player in the South African wine scene in recent decades.

Delheim stands for innovation and experimentation. When Michael Sperling took over the winery from his uncle and aunt, he had no knowledge of grapes or winemaking. Through perseverance and experimentation, he eventually succeeded in creating world-renowned wines. Since the mid-1960s, Delheim has developed a loyal fan base that can't get enough of its wines. The grapes for Delheim Sauvignon Blanc are grown in various vineyards in Stellenbosch. After fermentation, the Sauvignon Blanc grapes are aged on the lees for several months. This gives the wine more depth and power.

You can instantly recognize this as a Sauvignon Blanc. Refreshing, vibrant, and deliciously thirst-quenching. As soon as you pop the cap of Delheim Sauvignon Blanc, the South African sun begins to shine. You taste spring, the sunshine, the outdoors! The aroma is enticing. A wealth of fresh fruit notes greet you: grapefruit, gooseberry, and lime. A skilled nose might even detect a hint of asparagus. The taste perfectly complements the aroma. Juicy and fresh. Peach, grapefruit, but also complex flavors like green bell pepper and lemongrass. A wine that adapts to anything. Whether as an aperitif or a get-together with friends. We're certain that not only you but also your companions will fall in love with Delheim Sauvignon Blanc.
