The vineyards of Vilafonte Series M

Vilafonte Series M is composed of three grape varieties: Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Malbec. These are grown on the most exceptional vineyards in Stellenbosch, at the foot of the mighty Simonsberg Mountains, which tower impressively above the rest of the landscape. The vines have already reached a certain age, resulting in exceptionally high bunch quality. The process of producing a bottle of Vilafonte Series M is time-consuming, but it's worth every minute. After being hand-harvested, the juice is aged for at least 36, but often 42, months in oak barrels in Vilafonte's impressive cellars. Only after the express permission of the winemaker are the bottles of Vilafonte Series M allowed to leave the cellars.

Vilafonte Series M is a unique wine. Only a few hundred bottles are brought to the Netherlands each year. A bottle of this South African wine is therefore a rarity. However, it is a rarity where both the aroma and the taste transport you to paradise. We call this liquid perfection. The aroma is a sight to behold. You smell eerie notes of jam, cherry fruit, and spices. Hints of cedarwood, vanilla, and dark chocolate bring you to ecstasy. The taste is at least as magnificent as the aroma. With magnificent aromas of vanilla, cedarwood, spices, tobacco, and plums that gently settle on your taste buds, we can truly consider Vilafonte Series M a masterpiece. The finish is captivating.
