The goal in producing the Haute Cabriere Unwooded Pinot Noir was to create an elegant wine that would also appeal to non-red wine drinkers. Its brilliant light red color promises seductive aromas of red berries. On the nose, winemaker Takuan creates a truly striking aroma; notes of red berries, roses, violets, and light spices make the wine exciting. As Takuan himself says, this is only achieved with meticulous care from the vineyard. On the palate, this Pinot Noir is juicy, round, soft, and bursting with red fruit, light spices, cherries, and a hint of pomegranate. The smooth and refreshing finish provides a complete experience.
