One of the oldest Champagne houses in the impressive region of the same name, in northeastern France. It was founded in 1838 by two immigrants, William Deutz and Pierre-Hubert Geldermann. They established Deutz Champagne by continually acquiring new, high-quality vineyards around the village of Ay, just north of the bustling city of Epernay. Thanks to the founders' tireless efforts in the mid-19th century, we can still say that 80% of the grapes come from high-quality Grand Cru and Premier Cru vineyards; something no other Champagne house even comes close to achieving.

Besides their classic Brut Champagne, Deut also offers several specialty champagnes. Their vintage champagnes are of astronomically high quality. Furthermore, Deutz is the only champagne producer to offer a vintage champagne made from a demi-sec champagne. How unique! Deutz's crown jewel is Champagne Deutz Amour de Deutz. It's truly the house's flagship. It's a Blanc de Blanc vintage champagne. This means it's made exclusively from Chardonnay grapes and is produced only in the very best years. This is to preserve the power of this iconic champagne.

Besides the standard, classic champagne bottle sizes, Deutz Champagne also offers large bottles. Because, let's be honest: 0.75L is often just a bit too small. The classic brut champagne is also available in a 1.5-liter bottle, a 3-liter bottle, and even for the true connoisseur, Deutz Champagne offers a bottle: the 6-liter bottle! This is equivalent to eight standard bottles of champagne. The legendary Champagne Amour de Deutz is also available. We have the exclusive Amour de Deutz Methusalem 2005 Limited in our range. A 6-liter, extremely rare champagne. Only 365 bottles are available. This is also the last bottle in the Netherlands and likely one of the last bottles available worldwide.
