A deep bow to these Sicilian wines. Feudo Arancio has a turbulent history but has consistently improved from the crisis. These are distinctive wines that emphasize the versatility and robustness of Sicily. So sit back, relax, and let the quality of Feudo Arancio wash over you.

Italian wines from Sicily

We nearly missed out on enjoying Feudo Arancio's wines today. This dazzling winery was on the verge of collapse when it was rescued by one of Italy's largest and most important wineries: Mezzacorona. This gigantic winery has wineries spread throughout Italy, from Puglia to Veneto and from Trentino to Sicily. Thanks to its size and the associated economies of scale, Mezzacorona's wines are competitively priced for their high quality.

The Sicilian wines of Feudo Arancio

Feudo Arancia was a fine winery that first opened in 1904. It is located on the largest island in the Mediterranean: Sicily. Arriving here, by boat or plane, you'll feel like you're in a completely different world. Because Sicily has been inhabited by many different peoples, the island is a melting pot of cultures. This is evident in everything: architecture, nature, and culture. Therefore, it's definitely worth a visit. Feudo Arancio is located in the southern half of Sicily, near the famous Sambuca di Sicilia. For almost a century, this was Feudo Arancio's home base. Until its decline; in 2001, the winery was on the verge of bankruptcy.

The wines of Feudo Arancio

Fortunately, Mezzacorona arrived in 2001. This company purchased the winery, cleared the vineyards, renovated the winery, and planted new grape varieties, including the local Grillo and Nero d'Avola. These investments ensured that Feudo Arancio slowly but surely rose from its slump. It has since proven itself again. In particular, the Feudo Arancio Grillo and Feudo Arancio Nero D'Avola, true Sicilian classics, have become true
successes.
