Buy or order Sartori wine

As one of the oldest wineries in northern Italy, Sartori boasts an impressive track record. Each generation that has led the winery has contributed significantly, making Sartori renowned in the Verona region. Sartori is also successful outside Italy: a staggering 80% of its total production is exported.
The story begins in the late 19th century. Hotelier Pietro Sartori wanted fine wines for his hotel guests. He therefore purchased a small vineyard near the hotel, where he could produce his own wine and then serve it to his guests. In Sartori's early years, production was primarily focused on home consumption. It was ultimately Pietro's son, Regolo Sartori, who gave the winery its current allure.

Italian wines from Veneto

The fourth generation is now at the helm of Sartori. After more than a century, the region around Verona remains its home. However, some things have changed in recent generations. Investments and innovations have been made. A new cellar was built, and the production process was modernized. All this without losing sight of tradition. In addition, renowned oenologist Franco Barnabei was brought in to maintain the consistently high quality of Sartori wines.

The vineyards in Italy

Thanks to its long history, the Sartori winery has been able to amass a vast array of vineyards. Without exception, they are all located in Veneto. This region boasts a large number of Classico regions, such as Valpolicella, Soave, and Bardolino. These are well-known names among Italian wine enthusiasts. Sartori is also represented in all these areas. It even has distinctive vineyards in unique locations, such as Montegradella, where the popular Sartori Valpolicella Vigneti Di Montegradella is produced.

Sartori Regolo Ripasso

The absolute highlight of Sartori's range is the Satori Regolo Ripasso, named after the son of founder Pietro Sartori. Thanks to Regolo, the winery expanded and became a major player in the wine world in Verona and the surrounding area. The current generation owes a great deal to Regolo and has therefore decided to honor him with its own wine: a Ripasso. This means that during fermentation, the grape skins are pumped through the must again, making the red wine deeper, more intense, and more concentrated. Sartori Regolo Ripasso also undergoes a long period of oak aging to further enhance the wine's robustness.

The Sartori wines from Italy

Sartori Winery has wines for every palate. A refreshing rosé, a gentle Sartori Soave Classico, or a flavorful Sartori Bardonlino Classico. The crown jewel is undoubtedly Sartori's Amarone wine. The mere mention of Amarone makes many wine lovers' mouths water. Sartori Corte Bra Amarone Riserva is the ultimate Amarone wine and therefore definitely worth opening a bottle.
