Along with Pinot Noir, Chardonnay is the most important grape variety in Burgundy. It produces the most prestigious wines, which are highly sought after worldwide. How about a Meursault or a Puligny Montrachet? All top wines featuring Chardonnay grapes. This white wine is a bit sweeter and more approachable. This is immediately noticeable in the aroma.
