This iconic bottle, designed by Luigi Biscardo in 1968, was re-released in 2018 to commemorate the anniversary and has been bottled in this form ever since. Amarone comes from the historic hills of Valpolicella and has received numerous awards over the years. It's precisely this combination of provenance, tradition, and awards that you rarely see in this price range for Amarone.

The Corvina, Corvinone, and Rondinella are harvested early and by hand to preserve freshness, then dried for two to three months using the appassimento method, followed by gentle pressing and fermentation in stainless steel. The interplay of clay, sand, and stone with limestone-rich slopes creates tension and depth, beautifully balancing the higher alcohol content of 15.5 percent.

You will taste ripe cherry and plum, raisin, black pepper, liquorice and a subtle almond note, with a velvety structure and long finish that goes perfectly with grilled or roasted red meat and aged cheeses.
