Due to the altitude, all grapes are hand-harvested at precisely the right time. The grapes are planted in granite-covered soil, giving them their unique character. This Burmester Tawny Reserve is crafted from wines from different vintages, allowing for consistent quality year after year. Some of these wines are even aged in oak barrels aged for at least three years, allowing for subtle oak notes in the port wine.

It has an intense aroma with notes of fresh fruit. Aging in oak barrels creates aromas of dried fruit and nuts.
