This is one of Casa Silva's flagship wines, a unique piece of craftsmanship, if you ask us. What makes this wine unique? Well, it's made from eleven small, unique vineyards from Colchagua. All eleven vineyards are filled with the Chilean Carmenere grape, and each vineyard contributes to this red Microterroir. The vineyards are all between 0.1 and 0.4 hectares in size—literally, Micro. But these small vineyards are unique and of absolute top quality, all influenced by the Lingues Mountains. This is why the label states "Terroir de Los Lingues," because the mountain provides a unique climate. Very warm afternoons, cool nights, and winds blowing across the mountain. This gives the Carmenere grapes a lot of strength from the sun, but also, crucially, from the coolness.
