The Pinot Noir grape is known as a headstrong grape. It's not easily tamed. However, New Zealand's pleasant climate has a positive effect on the Pinot Noir grapes. They are elegant, refined, and exceptionally flavorful. The full bunches are harvested by hand in the early morning and carefully transported to the winery in small wooden crates. Here, the bunches are fermented, and the precious juice undergoes a beautiful oak aging process. This Cloudy Bay Pinot Noir rests for a full 12 months before it leaves the cellars.
