De Toren Patronus, from the renowned De Toren Private Cellar winery in Stellenbosch, is the pinnacle of exclusivity and finesse in the world of red wines. Manual harvest for The Tower Patronus
De Toren Winery, founded by Emil den Dulk and Albie Koch, has become a true icon in the South African wine industry. This estate is renowned for its red wines, based on the five Bordeaux grape varieties. Winemaker Charles Williams's signature style guarantees wines that are complex, accessible, and of outstanding quality. What makes De Toren truly unique is the use of gravity during the winemaking process. The estate occupies an idyllic stretch of land between Béziers and Pézenas, where the vineyards thrive in the favorable climate and fertile soils. De Toren wines embody the harmony between tradition, innovation, and the region's unique terroir.

The Malbec grapes are harvested entirely by hand at peak ripeness. The grapes are then transported directly to the winery where they are manually destemmed. After this, a unique fermentation process takes place in oak barriques. Finally, the wine is aged in these wooden barrels for an impressive 18 months.
