From Chenin Blanc grape to wine

Chenin Blanc is the definitive white grape of South Africa. It has great potential for producing sensational wines, provided they are treated well. The Chenin Blanc grapes grow close to the Simonsberg Mountains, providing them with excellent protection from extreme weather conditions. After harvest, the grapes are fermented, partially in stainless steel (34%) and partially in oak barrels. The Chenin Blanc Wild Ferment is then aged for another seven months on its own lees. The result is truly astonishing, placing this white wine rightfully among the finest Stellenbosch wines.
