Domaine Du Bosquet, a beautiful winery in the Languedoc-Roussillon region, is renowned for its miles of beaches, wonderful climate, and the superb wines produced here. The wines of Domaine du Bosquet are no exception. In the early 1990s, the estate acquired additional vineyards and replanted them to a very high standard. Only the finest vines were selected for these vineyards. Today, the vineyards are well-aged and produce exceptionally good grapes.

4 months of wood aging for this white wine

The Chardonnay grapes for this delicious Domaine du Bosquet Chardonnay are planted on beautiful mountain slopes, allowing the sun to reach the grapes effectively. The influence of the sea and its accompanying wind also contributes to the coolness at night, allowing the grapes to recover after a warm, sunny day. This coolness allows the Chardonnay grapes to develop a thick, strong skin and perfectly preserve all their flavors. Once the grapes reach perfect ripeness, they are harvested in the early morning. This morning harvest preserves the natural freshness essential for this beautiful white wine. After pressing, the wine is aged for four months in oak barrels, giving it its full yet subtle character.

Pleasant oily aftertaste

By now, we've become incredibly curious about white wine. With so much love and passion for the grapes, it's inevitable that this must be a top-notch wine! Upon pouring, we immediately notice the golden-yellow color. The familiar oily layer of Chardonnay is also beautifully and subtly present, suggesting the wine is perfectly balanced. The aroma offers a pleasant bouquet of apricots, peaches, roasted nuts, and a soft hint of vanilla. This translates to a rich, full-bodied white wine on the palate. With beautiful flavor nuances of tropical fruit, subtle vanilla, and a gentle hint of oak. A pleasantly fresh finish remains on the palate. The finish has a pleasant oily note, which we would certainly expect from a good oak-aged Chardonnay. What a gem!
